HCI services are community based and include programs for people who are physically and mentally disabled (including people with severely disabling conditions) those who have chronic neuromuscular diseases, and those who are disabled simply due to the aging process. HCI respects and serves individuals without regard to place of residence – personal homes, group or residential treatment facilities.
Through discovery and understanding of individual needs, HCI models its approach to supporting people with disabilities. Too many people are taught to stay where they are and accept the limitations of stereotypes and society. HCI says “through discovery one can learn and expand their abilities, set goals and we will help you achieve them.” |
