HCI's year-round camping and therapeutic recreation programs provide joyful, life changing experiences in a safe environment and build meaningful relationships in the lives of children and adults with disabilites. We promote planned leisure activities for adults and youth (P.L.A.Y.) in our recreational activities.

Program Goals HCI's Recreation Programs provide indviduals with disabilites opportunities for equal access to age-appropriate, recreational and leisure activities in small group settings and at large community-intergrated gaterhings. Actvities assist a person develop and use their leisure time in ways that enchance their health, well-being and independence.
In the Community Social recreational leisure opportunities and support include little league, summer camp, dances, swimming, horseback riding, and get-togethers to share learning experiences.
At Holly Center Leisure activities such as dances, trips or outings to area shopping, resturants, parks and beaches, amusements, community performances and sporting events. Exploration of hobbies may include gardening, bird watching, swimming or preparing for athletic competition in Special Olympics.
Volunteers Provide postive support through listening, sharing talents and experiences and becomeing role models in the pursuit of health and well-being.
