Pattie Tingle: Executive Director
As Executive Director, I have the pleasure of meeting and working with people of all abilities from all walks of life on a daily basis since 1990.  It is from these relationships that ideas are generated, opportunities are recognized and problems are solved.  It is also from these relationships that we join together for our common good.  From this, HCI is a stronger organization and I am a better person for having been a part.

Lee Lewis: Events Planner
Starting out volunteering a couple days a week in 1995 here at HCI and it eventually grew into a full time job.  I have done accounting to fundraising to outreach, and everything else in between.  I spend most of my time with outreach, letting many people know about the great services we offer here at HCI, and organizing events..

Rose Carey: Volunteer Cordnator
After 32 years as a state employee at the Holly Center who retired in 2001 I joined HCI as their volunteer coordinator. I handle hundreds of volunteers every year everything from office work here at HCI to events like Special Olympics, and spring festival.  It is exciting and rewarding job, and I get to meet hundreds of people every year.  If you would like to learn more about volunteering at HCI go here.

Janet Parke: Assistive Technology
I came to HCI in 2000 to coordinate the Assistive Technology Program.  That means I answer information/referral questions, give demonstrations, evaluate folks who need adapted telephones or other equipment for home/work and provide training on specific assistive technology. My work experience with these devices began in the early 1990's with the now titled State of Maryland Governor's Office on Disabilities.  HCI's program gives the lives of children and adults with disabilities more independence; and there is always more new things to learn!

Demont Elsey:
Receptionist
I am the Receptionist and Facility Tour Guide for HCI.  I have been here for the past 7 years, and I truly enjoy being a part of this great organization.  Since being here, I have had the opportunity to go to college with the help of my co-workers/friends.  Also, I have become more independent.
